Got problems with IIS? Something like the below?

Some said to try this? aspnet_regiis -i
Didn’t work? ok then try this.

First go to the framework directory in your local DOS prompt (I’m doing it for 2.0)
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727

When here type:
aspnet_regiis -ga ASPNET
This registers the ASPNET account (which is suggested by the link in the error page)

Now reinstall THIS version of IIS for existing apps:
aspnet_regiis -iru

Right and lastly reinstall the script maps:
aspnet_regiis -s W3SVC/1/Root/

Now retry.

Cheers

Choco
